Hand held Canon 1DX Canon 24-105mm Auto ISO 6400 1/180 sec f7.1
I am not certain of the ID but on the assumption that commonest things are common I reckon it is!
Just bought a new lens so I was trying it out just to see what may be possible without a tripod.
All C&C welcome.

ISO 6400? Wow. The fungi are very interesting with those layered edges almost like layers of petticoats & skirts. I'm going to have to start looking for such things. The bkgd. has a bit too much detail and since it is also the same colors, the fungi do not stand out as much as they could. You could try a slight Gaussian blur & a slight desaturation of the colors.

Hi Jon
I agree with Nancy on this one.Reckon I would crop the fungus tighter too.
Tinder bracket fungus is quite rare I believe but there are many bracket fungi in the group and not that easy to split.
Cheers
