Taken from garden hide tripod head, Canon 1DX Canon 500mm f4 Auto ISO 3200 1/1600 sec f7.1
One of my favourite little birds, I am not sure if they are in decline but this is the first one I had seen in the garden for about 12 months.
All C&C welcome

Spectacular image. Very nice pose, great fine details on tit. Beautiful colors, superb perch and BG. Great set up.
Superb composition. If mine ,would go for little more tight crop. ( personal liking).

Regards,
Satish.

Neat shot Jonathan, bird looks great as does the perch and BG,Satish as a point re crop but it would remove some of that perch which I like, all a matter of taste I suppose.

Cheers Keith.

Lovely perch, BG and bird. I just wish the bird were angled toward the viewer.

Most of everything looks great here, and I like the size of the bird within the frame so I would not crop any more (unless its just a wee bit from the top). The only thing needed here is a better head angle.

BTW our virtually identical Black-capped Chickadees are quite numerous here and very tolerant of people...feeding regularly from the hand. Fun for the kids!

Love the perch, BG and subject. Wish for a head turn and I feel it could go brighter.

The perch and the pose look great and I really like the feather detail in this. I agree that a bit better HA would have looked great. The brightness looks good to me. Well done.

Thanks very much everyone, I appreciate the pose is suboptimal but that was all I got, I took the shot and he was off!
