Allen you must have been pleased when you got this, wow it's a beauty. The pose is just brilliant and the colours exposure etc spot on. I like the perch and background, the dragon is hown beautifully. I presume it was a hot day and it was trying to lose heat or is this some king of display to attract a mate?

Spectacular pose, head looking forward & wings spread equally!! Great details, great colors, great bkgd. Perfectly captured.

Hi Allen,
I like the pose of the dragonfly and DOF. Have you used direct flash light or tried to use some reflection from diffuser? TFS.
Cheers,

An outstanding capture of this behavior, Allen! Very nice colors, sharpness, and background. I might suggest carefully cloning some of the small specular highlights on the wings - but it's a very minor issue with this image. Excellent work!
