I love the lower half of the image. Great POV and sharpness on the pair. But, to me the top half of the image is way to overpowering and on first looking, takes away the lovely lower half

A lot to like here, An excellent scene. A nice low view and the ducks are composed well, I love the green moss in the background. I must agree with William that the upper background is overpowering.

Agree with the above, Ducks look great but that green above the female really pulls my eye.

This is a pretty unique and intimate view into the life of a duck pair. Your low angle really works to your advantage here. While there are distracting elements in the image, I do find that it came together nicely here to include the environment.

A lovely, tranquil scene of this pair. Beautiful colors and silky water. Maybe a pano, and some toning down of the bg highlights?
