This was taken at Ojibway Nature Center in Windsor. It is a set up and sunflower seeds were used as an attractant. These Nuthatches are a lot of fun to photograph. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Hi Jim, what an awesome bird and full of character perch. Based on the techs it looks like the light was not great. It also seems that parts of the whites are a little blown. That said, I still really like the photograph. TFS

Great pose, colors and details. Hope to someday see one of these in the flesh. Maybe some more work on the whites?

Great looking frame Jim. I like the pose, perch, BG and the techs. The details and the whites look perfect to me. Nice setup.

This is a unique frame, since I am accustomed to seeing this bird upside down. Extremely well done on all counts, Jim, and you have a super setup there.

The anchored perch is lovely...the textures invite the eye to explore more than just the bird in the frame....nuthatch looks awesome. Great pose..perfect head angle!
