Long Island experienced a nice fallout this weekend with sparrows, juncos, kinglets and hermit thrushes well represented. Here is my favorite of the hermit thrush images that I captured. Unfortunately we also had steady winds which kept the birds on high alert making it hard to get close. This is slightly cropped at 1200 mm.

Thank you for looking and for your comments, I appreciate them all.

Looks a lot like our song Thrush Grace, bird looks really good and fits very well into the Bg colours, very nice indeed.

So pretty! I like how the image shows how long legged these thrushes can look when they stand tall like this. Yummy color palette too. Techs..perfect...

The bird itself is beautiful, and it works great with the setting, great light. Is there any way you could, or want to, clone that stray grass which cuts across the front leg?

Excellent suggestions, Mike. A quick mask will do the trick. Thanks.

Your killer signature light is awesome.
Great pose and IQ and POV.
Agree with trying to clone out the OOF branch,

Lovely light, POV and IQ. The color of the bird and background work well together. I like the composition and size of the bird in the frame.

I love it Grace. I'm really digging the long legged stance. Nice "out of breeding season" habitat representation of this woodland bird.

I don't mind the OOF branch at all, it adds to the environment for me.
The birds really pops, another beauty from you.
Your inclusion of the surroundings is what really makes your work special........

Love the light and the overall colors of this frame Grace. The techs and details look great and the pose and the BG look great too. I too would remove the OOF grass. Great job on this one Grace.
