I'm not sure if this is what I would expect a White Ibis to eat ... but this is what this individual had.

I spent a good 20 minutes with this Ibis. In that time it would 'tenderize' the frog with it's beak, then take it to the water and slash it around. After about 15 minutes, it decided it wasn't going to be able to swallow it (or at least that's what its actions led me to believe), so it left it by the water foraging for it's regular diet.

wow the frog is priceless Miguel! really like the inclusion of habitat, sharp with great exp. Since the far leg is clipped I'd be tempted to crop tighter to focus on the head and details of the frog!

well done

Wow, Miguel, I have never seen ibis eat frogs. Amazing behavior. I am with Arash on recropping by removing much of the body and legs.

What a moment, Miguel! Great lighting too, very pleasing.
I agree that a closer crop to focus on the action would set this off!

Super photo Miguel. I am such a fan of action/behaviour shots like this one. I could see a much tighter crop to focus on the head and the frog (could try both horizontal and vertical). TFS

What a great looking frame Miguel. I really like the exposure control and the details in this. The frog in the beak and the direct stare put this one over the top. Well done.

Superb detail in this one. Poor old froggy though ! I would go along with the crop suggested by others too.
