I would categorize it as landscape. Have you thought about cropping out the top to just below the top of the dunes? Nice shadows. I'm assuming late afternoon, given the angle of the shadows? Is this the reason for the 1000 iso? I like the movement the shadows give to it.

Hello Hazel
it is 99 a.m.
I used 1000 iso becouse I would like f.22
I tried also with less sky but the image remain too much "drowned"

Hi Giovanni, I call it a landscape too.. I like the shadows, it make a very interesting picture. My only suggestion is to remove the stalks at the bottom left hand corner for a cleaner lead into the image with the eye... I am curious why the f22? I think sharpness is better at f13 to f16 with still enough depth of field..

Regards
Don

Thanks for answering my questions. Re the cropping....it's purely a personal choice. The good thing about BPN, I find, is the many suggestions I get that sometimes help me see something in a new way and sometimes help confirm that I am not the right track. You are the artist. Go with your vision.

Also landscape for me. I agree with Don and remain curious for the f22 option.. Usually i limit aperture in landscape shots to f13/f16.

Definitely a landscape, albeit a more abstract view.
I like the diagonal play of the shadows and the overall feel - I'd crop out the sky and add some midtone contrast as well, Giovanni.
Can work in B&W too?

Hi Giovanni, this is a very nice landscape image! I would crop out the sky and evict the grasses poking into the scene in the lower left corner.

Ditto Andrew - I was just going to post the same comment when I saw his. Nicely seen:S3:

neat shot, the dunes are nice, the ISO is way too high, as is the aperture, F/11 could easily be good enough. Also the compression is strange in the sky.

Edit: Saw the new version, its better, looks much better. Still looks a bit funny, maybe over sharpened.
