Greater Flamingo - Marievale Bird Sanctuary

Eventhough light conditions were pretty interesting, I left the fstop way down and the second flamingo is OOF..... I still kinda liked how this one turned out.
So in a nutshell there is potentially lots I could have done differently but does it work for you?

I was at Marievale last Saturday and saw only two flamingo's, Richard - wonder if these are them? :w3

To answer your question: the oof bird does not work for me. Somehow my eye wants the closer bird in focus - whether the furthest one is in focus or not. Can't wait for the flamingo's to return in large numbers again in summer...

I like the image - agree with the comment on the OOF bird. My eye does tend to get drawn to be being the closer of the two.

I'm with the others regarding the oof bird. Just looks out of place when the other one is so perfectly sharp. The concept is very nice.

I love the sharp bird and the soft light. The problem with the o-o-f bird is that it looks as if it is the closer bird. Which it is not....
