I was at Ft. Desoto when sunrise and low tide were close together when I captured this image. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom 5 and Photoshop Elements 10, used the brush in photoshop to eliminate mud ridges in the upper frame.

Joe:

Nice bit of action captured, good light. The ripples from the motion have distorted the reflection a bit, but can't have the action without the ripples!

I might consider a small crop from the top so that there is about equal space above the bird and below the reflection. An perhaps a small balancing crop from the right.

Cheers

Randy

Crisp details and light, nicely presented.
The little catch is a bonus - I agree with Randy's crop suggestion. :5

Hi Joseph, lovely light in this, and well timed to capture the feeding behaviour. A bonus seeing the food item too. I like the ripples around the bill, and I also like like the hint of the water reflection on the body of the willet.

Looks like the little crab is climbing up the bill! The concentric circles are perfect. I like the crop suggested by Randy. The reflection looks good for this image despite being distorted by those ripples...I would only eliminate the three bluish blobs within it. Well done!

I like the ripples, crab, water reflection, sharpness and light. I am okay with the composition but do like Randy's suggestion as well. Very well done Joe!
