Part I here (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/122730-The-Clash-of-Kings-Part-I)

When the "shooing" attack failed, he decided to launch himself and tried to bombard the intruder.

As I shot the sequence, I realized that I might hit the DOF limitation this time, and hence stopped down from f/6.3 to f/8. However also ended up with a slightly harsher background compared to the previous shot.

Canon EOS 1D-X + 400mm f/5.6L
f/8, 1/2000, ISO 800.
Cloned out some dark regions in the background.

Action packed excellent image. Very nicely exposed whites, HA's are very good with open bill, beautiful clors and composition.
Wish whole BG was blue.

Satish.

Hi Sridatta i am again impressed by your work on this one . All is just perfect , well almost , the BKG is kind of distracting , but nothing you do about , so think it is just a very minor issue.

Well done , TFS Andreas

F8 is the way to go IMHO. The action is the most important thing in this wonderful action shot. The BG doesn't distract me at all.
You have a great series going here,
Gail

Another really neat action photo. I love the golden slippers showing nicely. I see what you mean about the BG and ideally it would be smoother...but yes, the action trumps that.

Missed this one but glad that I saw it now. It is spectacular as noted above. Where was it created. Do you have a link to the first one?
