Amazing morning at Brigantine, NJ this past Friday with juvenile Forster's and Common Terns. Just noticed Bill's post, but thought it interesting the difference between the light we were dealing with, and thought it worth posting. C&C welcome

D700, Nikon 500mm + 1.4x, 1/2500, f 7.1, 1000 ISO, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

Hi Geoffrey, I like the banking pose and show of the fanned tail. I also like the show of the primaries on the far wing. As a matter of interest, were you shooting with Bill, or was this captured on a different occasion?

Love this top side banking pose you captured! Excellent dual color BG and perfect exposure. The details are awesome! TFS

I like the topside view and the 2 tone BG. I also like the fanned tail a lot.
I feel the image could go a bit brighter or at the very least I would brighten the eye area.

Love the dorsal widespread view of this beautiful bird. As said above, fanned tail and the far wing primaries are the highlights. Great shot overall.
