Looks like a near-perfect portrait Andreas. Beautiful detail, well exposed. I see a tiny bit of 8-bit digitization contour in the brightness below the bird's bill otherwise technically good. Regards, Ian.

Well done portrait. It's sharp with a good light. I would try to crop little bit different to get more landscape orientation (deleting more down and a little bit at the right). TFS. Cheers! Miro

Exceptional details, good comp and BG. The eye looks great. Nice warm light you got. For me a bit better head angle would have made the image even stronger.

An expat in your 'backyard' I see. Lovely portrait Andreas. No nits:S3: Darg bg sets it off well

Hi Andreas, stealing our Geese. :w3 Comp work well here, and you have the colours spot on. He does pop against the darker BG. Do they make a lot of noise, as the certainly do this side of the world. :bg3:

An often overlooked bird that you have captured beautifully.
The IQ is awesome. Great BG and nice light.
I like the HA but wish for a bit more of a headturn or perhaps a bit more of a lowered head position to get rid of the shadowed chin area,
Gail
