Never really got an explanation of what this behavior is all about. Seems to be a lot of it going on now so I am wondering if it has anything to do with the coming departure of the colony.
At any rate , it is fun to watch and great practice for flight photography.

Nice image Joe, you've got those whites spot on. I still struggle a wee bit with them. I like the position of the birds between the clouds on a lovely BG. Well done
