I think it is an interesting shot, I like the pose and the crystal clear eye.
I would be inclined to check the white balance in the raw image and see if you prefer the colours to the ones presented - you may not of course but I think it would be worth considering if you have not already.

Like the dramatic effect on this Will.
Maybe a little more space around and a teeny bit of upward gamma? No big deal

Hi Will , nice incoming pose and the slightly cocked head working well here.
A bit dull and dark , i would open up mid tones and check the WB as Jonathan suggested . Looks a bit too warm
And agree with John about being a bit tight.
Still a nice one that could be easily improved

Neat gliding pose for sure and I like the head being cocked sideways a bit like this, and a nice view of the large webbed feet. The composition definitely needs more room for the gannet to "fly into" and yes, I'd prefer the WB a tad cooler too.

Gotta agree with the critiques above. Some room in front would really add to the image, although I may think about adding at the top and bottom (more on the bottom) to keep the same aspect ratio.

Nice one William. I love the incoming pose, face and the suggestion of oof sky and sea in the background. I agree with the other guys' suggestions. Well done. Ian.

Sharp with nice feet. Looks to be a yellow cast. In addition, pulling up the curve would brighten the WHITEs.
