Hi Guys, I took this some time ago and decided that I might try a B&W conversion on it. What do you think?? Its a 4 image stitch that I have cropped to a 3:1 ratio. Unfortunately 3:1 crop means a lot of data is lost (>50%) when the image is reduced to fit in the 900 x 1200 pixel limit for posting, unfortunately nothing I can do about that... The Light towers left of center are over the famous WACA cricket ground for those of you that know what cricket is...

I really like this one Don - good mono presentation (though I'd also like to see it in colour?)
I think it will work better with the FG rocks cropped out?

Hi Morkel.

Thanks for the comments. I will post the colour version tonight when I get home.. The rocks I was not sure about myself... They don't offer a leading line and so I cropped them to provide a minimal base, but I still wasn't convinced it was right. Might try cropping just above the big rock and completely remove the big block of apartments RHS to maintain my 3:1...

The Colour version... and I guessing it may be preferred by many over the B&W.

and a tighter crop of the OP without the rocks...

Hi Don, lovely city scape and I like both color and B&W versions and version with rocks cropped out really draws all our attention to the city skyline. Love all the stars created by the city lights too. Nice work!

I really like the "excitement" of the color version. One of my first thoughts was to crop out the rocks, so I'm glad Morkel agreed. I like the way the slanted towers and their reflections anchor the center.
