Hi, its been a while since i`ve posted the last image on this forum and now i bring a fresh Long Exposure for critique. This image representes the entrance to Portugal capital city, Lisbon by the 25th of April bridge. I`ve created a BW LE to create the needed drama for this scenery.

What are your thoughts on this?

I love the tones and the balance of the sharp vs. the smeared, but I feel like there's too much FG.

I'd like to try a 2:1 aspect ratio and crop using the left two-thirds of this image, putting much more emphasis on the bring.

Welcome back.

I love long exposures for the sense of movement they bring to a landscape image which you have done beautifully here, I really like the BW conversion and while I can see taking some off the bottom I am ok with it as is. I would suggest darkening the water in the LLC just a tad as is that area is competing with the other light area just right of the bridge span. I think you would have a stronger composition if the viewers eye ended naturally at that spot.

What a wonderful idea -- and perfect clouds for a LE! That sky is exploding! I'd also like to see a version with a little off the bottom and some darkening in the LLC.

Hi Luis

Very dramatic.. and I especially like the bridge against the light BG. I like the tones and the smooth FG and would not want much or any cropped off, maybe a slither to just above your name at the most. I agree with the slight darkening of LLC. Welcome back.

Hi Luis,
I like this one alot and agree with Don on darkening the LLC as the final, finishing touch. Very nice work and foresight to use the ND filter to capture the passage of time.

Welcome back, Luis!
I love the mood, the leading lines of the streaky clouds, the tonal range and the placement of your elements in the scene. I agree that it needs bit less foreground...
Looking forward to more of your recent work!

I actually think the FG should stay :p there is just enough reflection, all-be-it blurred, from the darker clouds to cement the shot.

Thanks to all for the helpfull feedback. I wil repost here a revision with the darkened water and less foreground.
