I managed to capture this cormorant whilst sitting at the local harbour on this wet and cloudy morning. He was visible for about 5 secs in my range so I managed to get a few shots off. Some show the body, some don't. I wasn't sure of the HA on this image, the bird was swimming away from me, but luckily for me, swung his head round just about enough. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for looking

For the swimming-away pose the head angle is OK - a degree more our way would have been perfect. Well exposed, and nice details. I like the low-lying body and the sunken water at the front of the subject. I would check the overall white balance here - it seems a tad yellowish/greenish to me. Try adding some blues (and perhaps also a touch of reds) to see if that improves on things.
