I shot this kneeling a in a lagoon in 2-3 feet of water with camera just above the waterline, I was mostly getting flight shots, but can't resist the wing drying sessions. There is a large crop on this shot so I hope to improve on the head angle and IQ on a similar shot very soon.

Definitely looks like a situation worthy of some more time and effort.

Your exposure is spot on, Robert, and I am just loving all your feather details. My favorite little details of this image however is the stray feather!!! Great bathing pose with a nice catchlight. You nailed this one.

Hi Robert, the IQ looks fine for a 'larger' crop as you state, and love the outspread wings. Exposure looks spot on, and couldnt miss that stray flying feather - adds a lot to the image. Maybe a touch of CW rotation. :w3
