Hi all,

Was looking for input on this Wilson's Warbler I took. I worked on it in RAW, but am wondering are the eyes sharp enough? Thanks for any help.

Here is another image of the same bird on another perch; I again worked in Adobe RAW to brush the bird and lower exposure as he was a tad hot. Eyes seem a bit better. https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t1.0-9/65973_10204580888146347_7108650261426768625_n.jpg

Hi Paul,
Can you give us your EXIF data?
A couple of things I noticed right away.
1.is that you need to do noise reduction on the BG.
The eye looks OK to me in both posts but I am on my laptop so I could be wrong.
2.The composition needs to be different I think. It is too boxy for my tastes and I would change this to a landscape orientation.
I would also get rid of the thin twigs below the bird.
The exposure appears to be better in the second post. You have a lot less noise on the bird in the second post.

Great observations and suggestions by Gail. I would only add a thought that you study some of the fine images posted on this forum and think about your composition. You don't have to crop this much in order to make a pleasing presentation.
