Taken walking through a meadow near Lake Ontario. Not set up, no blind.

Great image, David. I like the light, perch, details and head angle. I'm wondering if the color temperature is a tad too high. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. Love the head angle and the sweet BKGR. A crop from the bottom to a near-SQ might work too. The head looks a bit over-lightened...

Beautiful. Love the pose, the soft light, the background, and the sharpness.

Super nice Dave. I like the whole image a lot : nice pose, beautiful background, nice perch. After reading Artie's comment I wander indeed if you used something like hightlight/shadow adjustment on this?
Cheers,
Philippe.

Hey stranger, lovely presentation. I have not seen the bird, so I can't comment on the lightness issue.
We have a place full of chicks for you around our area ;)

Very nice image, Dave! I had a few of these flying around me the other day... not really to spooked by human presence which is nice.
