Very good job on the set up Joel!
Love the dark look of this image with soft light and a nice species. You chose a log with a lot of character and gave the bird just the right amount of space. Very nice one.
There is one small dust bunny on top left. I always check my images at 100% after NR just to make sure there are no surprises!

Very nice perch you used here, lots of character and interesting lines and crevices and fungus. Perhaps a wee bit dark in the deeper crevices, but still pretty neat. I'd be tempted to crop a sliver off the left to hide the fungus that is touching the edge of the frame. Subject looks good, well detailed, and well exposed. Perfect head angle. Good BG.

You have done a fabulous job photographing my nemesis pecker. Absolutely LOVE your perch and BG. You could not have asked for a better pose on the bird and its tootsies. Really well done!!!

Very nice love the detail. I would take out the white bumps on the left edge of the frame.

I like the image, on the placement i may like more greens than the bark currently the bark somehow overpowers the frame , saying that the bird looks fantastic and very full of details.
