Nice color for this nighttime shot. I like the way the body of the prey fades into the darkness.

Hi Tom - Welcome to the Wildlife Forum! It would be great if you would give a little more information about the image including the source of the light and where it was taken. I am presuming that this being spot lit by a tracker on the same vehicle as you. It gives a little bit harsher effect that way. I like the pose of the leopard with the mouth wide open and the prey included behind. I do find the comp sort of in between though. I would have preferred more room on the lhs for the leopard's whole body to fade into the darkness. If this is ff then perhaps a vertical comp would be an alternative.
It would also be great if you would give your thoughts on other people's images. We recommend commenting on at least 3-5 other wildlife images each time you post one of your own in Wildlife. It's the best way to get the most out of BPN and quickly become a part of the community. Your comments don't have to be technical. Just tell us what you like or don't like about the image.
TFS,
Rachel

Thanks guys, Rachael I may try a vertical comp.
This is indeed the full frame.
We were first on the scene @ Pondoro Game Lodge
in the greater Kruger region, but had to leave when other vehicles arrived.
when we returned darkness had set in and all the action began.
