These are this years baby Burrowing Owls. They have been allot of fun to watch and shoot this year. They are always looking to get to the highest perch, even if it's on top of your sisters head!!

1DX---600mm---F7.1---ss1/3200---ISO640---HH from truck@ 6:25pm---25% crop

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. I appreciate it.

Really awesome shot. The expression on the owls face is priceless! Maybe the wing of the top owl is a bit tight on the right hand side, but really a top pic.

Action and the best kind of image quality...a win win. A cool feature to the image besides the behavior, is the difference in pupil size between the two birds. No ideas for improvement on this one, it's excellent in all regards.

I had the exact same thoughts as Mr. Zierman, but he said it a lot better than I could :) Stellar work Dave.

Hi David, I really envy you guys managing to shoot great subjects like this. What a fun image with the owl on the bottom clearly 'upset' with its sibling perching on her. I like the wingspread filling the top half of the frame. Great work once again.
