This was taken at the Australian Wildlife Conservancy's privately owned sanctuary at Mornington in the Kimberleys in W.A [approx 700 square miles] 2weeks ago, where research is carried out on endangered species and on feral predators .
50% crop as I couldn't get any closer but am sending it anyway.Comments gratefully received.

Great job of catching the action here. Your image appears well focused and sharp, too bad you needed such a large crop. I'd still take this shot any day of the week with maybe some NR on the backgroup

Great shot even with the crop. Love the eye contact the bird is holding on the bug.

Thanks Joe, I was trying to get this Rainbow Beater in flight so had no extenders, on or I simply can't keep up with them.

Lovely action shot. Nicely exposed . If this is a place you can visit again try to get a little closer as the bee eaters in Europe tend to use the same perches time and again. A lot of patience is required but it will pay off in the end.
