Very nice! I like the plain white (almost white) BG, and the small perch lets us see the bird nicely
It looks like you captured a very sharp shot, but the JPEG looks a little over-sharpened.
You might have gotten away with a slower shutter speed and lower ISO, but I can't say that there is anything wrong with what you got. A very handsome bird!

Thanks Dianne. I kept the SS high as it was windy and the twig was swaying to & fro.

Hey Sanjeev, like the minimal approach, although the colours do look washed out/thin based on shooting these literally a week ago in SA. Not sure if it's the light, but certainly ramping up the Yellow & Green begins to go so way in getting colour back into this vibrant bird. Good call on the techs, based on the situation.

Very nice species.. not very common here in Portugal. Its sharp, good posse and i agree with steve`s comment above. Still, very well done.

You did well in what looks like very harsh light... If it could stand a bit of a larger crop the bird would have more impact.
