Yes, a lovely shot. I'm not familiar with all the tech things that are written. What lens were you using? 500mm? At any rate, great shot.

Love this. From the thumb I was sure the cone would be too big but upon viewing the larger image it is just right - especially with the "interaction" pose of the foot pulling it closer ( seemingly) and the head looking down to peek for food. Love perch's texture and flaring greens in the corner. If anything I'd blend in the harder edged curving streak in the BG at bottom.

what a fantastic image….the thumbnail does not do it justice. Great feeding behavior and I like how he's holding on to the pine cone.

Hi Pamela, the set-up works well and I like the arching branch. BKG compliments the image, but agree with Daniels point of the 'curve'. Having the raised leg on the cone makes it for me.
