Very nice eye contact and low shooting angle, Gail.
Love the plumage on this bird. Great light, spot on exposure and lot of interest added by the dripping water.
Looking forward to more from your Florida trip.

Hi Gail

Very difficult to expose not to blow the whites on bird/BG AND to get detail in blacks.
What did you expose on?

Love the pose and the low angle.

Hi Andre,
I always expose for the whites and bring up the blacks in PP if I have too.

Beautiful shot of this guy keeping his breeding plumage clean. Good low POV, nice position of the bird, and action captured; well exposed.

Missed this earlier Gail
I have a thing for birds in water ! Grand shot- just enough movement to convey whats happening- and the droplets too. Exposure and detail spot on.
Cheers
John
( and a nice blurry reflection ! Yippee!)
