I am in the process of buying a new monitor and very much like the look of the Dell ultra sharp U 2413 premier collection that fits my budget of about £400.If anybody uses this model or as any knowledge of it ,I would much appreciate any advice before my purchase.

It's one of the best values in monitors. I'm looking at one right now. I've also got a considerably more expensive NEC Spectravision model at home and I don't notice any appreciable difference. Get a Spyder or some calibration device to make sure that your colors are accurate, but they're not likely to require much adjustment.
