I like the vantage point on this. I would crop some from the left to place him on the left third of the frame. I like the amount of OOF FG you left because yes he looks ready to dig in.

Nice low angle Dan...I'd crop a bit from the left here....to place him on the left third of the frame. Too bad the two legs are merged.

Like the low angle and the OOF FG leading to sharp flowers near the elk.. Beautiful colors in the image.. Could have placed the bull a bit further left in the frame but not bad as is.. Elk looks a bit off balance because of the merger of the 2 legs.
