From Forsythe NWR ("Brig"), several weeks ago. I haven't gotten much in the way of exotic warbler species this spring, but I'll post a short series of some that breed locally, beginning with this cooperative Common Yellowthroat male. Removed a few stems on this one; and decided to keep him fairly small in the frame.
D7000, 700mm, ISO 1000, 1/500s @ f/7.1 manual.

A beautiful little bird set off very well with the soft colored background. Very nicely done. Would have preferred to not have that branch in front of the Yellowthroat, but still a nice image.

Agree with above comments but no big deal. We dont see enough pics of birds as we see them. As John says - better without the middle stem but does it really spoil the image ? I don't think so.
Looks ok in my humble opinion anyway.

Very nice. I think keeping the bird smaller in the frame works well on this one. His colors really make him stand out against the smooth background.
