Yes, you are right on the ID. This is a Snowy Plover (Charadrius alexandrinus). The subspecies found in Florida is the Cuban subspecies (tenuirostris)...not a common bird at all. I love the low angle, great background, and great golden light. Well done.

Glad Judd helped with identification as I am horrible at it. The white have nice detail throughout also. Very nicely done.

Adams, The bird is beautiful, perfectly set off by the steely blue background.

Wonderful work, Adams. I love the low perspective and excellent lighting. I think taking a bit off the top would strengthen the composition.
