I went to the local conservation area to buy the seasonal pass and looked around a bit.
I found a Killdeer family. They had only one chick.
It was running around and feeding at the edge of one of the parking areas.
Thanks for looking.

High cuteness factor here Karl.
Nice raised foot pose and the busy surroundings add context rather than distracting.

Love the raised foot. Sharp. Perfect EXP. Note that Karl did a great job of getting right on sun angle in relatively harsh light. The only thing that bugs me is the cut off stalk on the right hand frame-edge.

Thanks Artie. Stalks have been removed.

A little cutie Karl. I also like the raised foot, nice work handling the bright light. I like the RP better with the stem gone, maybe also take the angle cut off stem out. Just a thought.
