this one was my wife's favorite. tighter in the frame than the last one. slightly different compo.

D300, Sigma 50-500 at 72mm, f/6.3, 1/500s, 0EV, ISO 400.

comments and critiques are appreciated!!

Hi Harold, Like both images but I like this image comp more than the first. I do notice that the first is a lot more saturated and slightly darker.

So I prefer the second comp, but the first for sat and image density. Also the first seems to have better edge to edge sharpness.

Hi Harold,
You know I like this crop!!! I'll have to go back and check on Robert's suggestions........but Sat is an easy fix. Do like the sharpness and detail here in the leaf! Way to keep exploring an image!

Hi Harold, yes I also prefer this tighter composition appearing much stronger than the first. Good one!!

Agree with all above and can add that I can just imagine this image taken at the last of the setting rays !!!! Doing well Harold !!!!!!

Interesting....such wonderful sense of movement implied by the trail in the sand and the sand on the leaf. Great vision, Harold.

Nicely seen Harold. I like the trail of sand formed by the surf.
