I tried watercolor painting with Russell Brown's Watercolour Assistant panel but it wasn't too successful so I changed the blend mode and then I used Topaz Adjust on the combined layer. I found out about Russell Brown's new Adobe Paper Pro texture applicator panel with free sample textures from Flypaper so I used 3 of those textures on the image and then I put a Photomorphis Out of Alignment texture underneath for a background.

PS The panels are free if you are an Adobe Cloud member. From the Window > Extensions select Adobe Exchange and look under FREE to find them. I had to search for the Adobe Watercolour Assistant panel. Then you have to sign in and it will download right into Photoshop but you have to re-stat Ps for it to work.

Well, I'm not crazy about this image. I do like the frame very much.

Hi, Judy, I wish the tree looked more like a tree - it looks like a knee or elbow joint to me instead of a tree. I do like the frame:S3:

Uh oh, I bombed on this one :t3 I'll see if I can resuscitate the tree trunk to a more natural state.

Hey, Judy, nothing is a "bomb". I think it's cool but couldn't get rid of my initial impression. The background trunk really looks like a crepe myrtle - it's the front one that needs some tender loving care:S3:

It happens to all of us. :-)

I should not have read the previous comments. Now all I can think of is a knee joint that looks very well worn :Whoa!:! I really like the frame colors and offset lines.

Often I don't read the comments of others until after I've written most of my own.

Glad to hear that Cheryl! I do too actually. Sometimes I get carried away and overdo things.:e3:bg3:
