This is quite an impressive image. Your low angle really helped to showcase this amazing behavior and moment!

Fine work. The image is full of fine detail such as the drop from the adult's bill and fuzz on the chick. Well done, congratulations.

Terrific image Binu. The interaction is amazing and your exposure is spot on. I've never seen a coot this young. The 1DX seems amazing - ISO 1600 is not at all noticeable, although you probably didn't need that much SS. Excellent work!

Amazing interaction captured.
Love the low POV and the IQ. The water droplet on the bill and the vegetation in the baby's open mouth are wonderful to see.
Congrats on a fine image,
Gail

I love the low perspective and that mouth full of green goo. The open bill of the chick puts this one over the top.

I am pretty sure, however, that the BLACKs could go a bit darker and that the eye and face of the adult could stand some selective sharpening.....

Be right back.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks Sid! Yes, I didn't need 1/6400 for this shot. I bumped up the ISO since the other parent was feeding two other chicks in the shade and I was trying to shoot both and I couldn't manage to change the ISO setting before panning for this action.
