From a couple of weeks ago. One of quite a few thornbill species, this tiny (and fast moving) bush bird is relatively common in southern Australia. Thanks for looking, Greg

Spot on Greg. I like the tea-tree support for this picture, good background as usual, nice use of fill flash. Great work. Regards, Ian

The BG makes the shot IMO, it's such a gorgeous colour. Perch is very nice and what a smart little bird. Well done, Greg.

Your set-ups are awesome.
Love the IQ, the perch, the BG.
If I were to be very "critical" I would wish for a slightly better head angle towards us,

Love the oversize head on this fella! I'm with Gail about the head angle but I suspect you only got a nano-second to take this :-)

Hi Greg, you have nailed another little beauty. Tack sharp, great IQ, and just love the overall detail and colours. Lots to look at. Well captured.

Well done composition and BG. Like the position of the bird. And some fruits on the branch make the picture very attractive and cute. Cheers! Miro

You nail these setups Greg! I love how all the elements in your setups are just right. Size, scale, color etc.
Beautiful perch. I like the size of the bird in the frame. Lovely bg too. A little more head turn is all I could wish for here.

Lovely photo. From my experience these are usually in amongst foliage and not so out in the open.
Did you use calls to get it to the perch?
