A classic singing pose and a strong diagonal perch make for a good all round image. Lighting has been handled very well, with some good detail in the white throat. With regards to the comp, I would have placed the bird bang on the upper left third. I would also give it another round of sharpening. So the very minor nits aside, it's a good looking image, Jonathan.

Nice looking shot and I really like the BG and the setting. Great looking singing pose also. I agree with Andy about the comp and the sharpening. Nice work.

Well done composition, like the BG too. I agree with Andy and David, more sharpening would like to see at least around the head. Cheers! Miro

Love the calling pose and the lovely light and BG. I am seeing the head is not as sharp as the rest of the bird and could use more sharpening. If this is a set up you are going to reuse, I would consider taking off some of the right side of the perch.

Cool shot of this handsome bird. The singing pose is good and love the skinny perch and clean BG. I do wish the eye was a tad sharper.

Lovely pose captured and the BG is superb
i may even give it a vertical compo if it works well
the singing pose keeps the viewer on the bird, very nicely done

Hi Jon, lovely singing pose towards the heavens, and I would try a version moving the warbler a little back to the left a bit.
