Per Wikipedia: "The blue hour is the period of twilight... where there is neither full daylight nor complete darkness. The time is considered special because of the quality of the light". You guys all know that, but in some ways to me it is even more special than the golden hour. Well here a shot I was determined to get in the "blue hour". I would love to see other "Blue Hour" photographs...

Hi Pao

A very nice shot... Nice anchor and good detail through out. I might like to enhance the white in the cloud a little just to add a little contrast to the blue. It is one of my favourite times to shoot also although I have been a little busy lately to get time to go out. What was the camera? I am wondering on the square format..

Regards
Don

Hi Don, thank you for your input. The camera used was a Canon. I just cropped it to a square as there was too much sky.

Pao,

Nice images, but I think you will find in the rules of this forum that you are allowed to post any variations of the same image in a post, but not different images. ie New image, new post... It's also asked that you comment on 3 to 5 other images for each post also..

And, while watermarking is permitted, you might want to seriously lower the opacity. Your watermark stands out more than your scene and becomes a significant distraction.

Hi Pao. Welcome here. I like your original image, and I too feel you could extract more from the clouds as a counterpoint to the foreground? Certainly a great time to shoot in.
I removed your subsequent images as our guidelines state that reposts/variations of the same image is allowed in the same thread, but you'll have to start new threads for each new image. I hope this is okay with you. :t3

I'm looking forward to more of your images and also your feedback on other threads posted here...
