This is the same subject as posted yesterday, very shortly after taking the shot she got up and moved towards me, filling the frame which in turn, meant I had to go for a tighter crop. OOF grass has either blurred or coloured in parts the chest feathers, hence the slight green cast. One grass stem removed, not ideal or great!!!

Lens: 500f/4 plus 1.4x HH
Exposure: 1/125s (:Whoa!:) at f/5.6 ISO800

Just double checked the Techs, 1.4 was on too DOH.

Steve I missed the former post but this one is quite nice. Good and sharp eye contact. Light is good and the clonig job is clean.

Amazing sharpness and detail especially for the speed and HH. The water on the beak adds some extra interest.

Really liking this one, Steve...and as already mentioned, the sharpness is incredible for a 1/125th HH on that combo; you should have been a surgeon.
