A pair of Black-Capped Donacobius doing their morning duet.

6D + 500mm f/4 + 1.4x II + tripod
Manual: f/9.0, 1/640s, ISO 1250
Flash: ttl at -1 2/3

cropped 50%, flash eye cleanup, color in viveza, noise in dfine, smart sharpen

Any suggestions welcomed.

Kester, A very nice color pallet you have going on here. A rich yellow on these attractive birds. A bonus as they look like they are talking to each other. The sharpness looks for a 50% crop. I like the color of the background. but think ideally it could be a Little more out of focus.

great interaction, I like the pose and HA for both, sharp. you had great light. I would slightly tone down the highlights in the right bird's tail. Some of the oof vegetation in the BG is distracting.

I think this is really nice.
I have never heard of this bird so I am happy to see a new species.
Love the colors and the interaction as well. I love the perch!
The BG is distracting and I would dodge the blackish area above the right bird's head and clone out the vegetation under the flower head. I like the pattern formed by the OOF vegetatation in the LLC and would leave it in,
