Sedge Warbler
One from the archives.
The colour is interesting- some see too much green some too much yellow. Thats how it came out anyway.
Suppose you could call this an enviro shot. They never sit out in the open for me !

Enviro shot all right and it looks pretty good, John. If anything, I would take off about 20 mm from the left to move the bird further form center.

And a beautiful environment it is. Combined with a perfect singing pose. I can't comment on the color, but I like the overall effect. I think Karl makes a good point about the crop.

All the enviro stuff is just gorgeous! Looks like a very well-done painting, with the bird gorgeously sharp and beautifully lighted. I do like it cropped from the left to exclude that vertical stem. Then the eye goes right to the bird, with nothing to have to get past.

Maybe a little gradient darkening on that left edge...

I really like this John, especially the repost with the bird off centre. A great environment image.
