This caught my attention when I was at Circle B Bar Reserve a while back. The Great Blue Heron flew in and began squawking at the Black Vultures. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Sharp with an excellent exposure. Nicely conceived and framed. If all the BVs had been facing you and been more neatly arranged, i.e., with the few merges, this would have been a grand slam.

How cool! Unique opportunity and you made the most of it. Not sure you needed ISO 2000, or is that a typo?

Hi Daniel, the ISO is not a typo. I had set the camera to capture the heron in flight when it flew into the tree. The angles were wrong so I didn't trigger the shutter. I kept the shutter speed at 1/2500 expecting the heron or vultures to fly. While waiting I captured a few images of them in the tree, not really expecting to keep them. I started to work them up and saw the possibilities, this is the result.

Killer title and ditto what Artie said! Well seen and executed.
