Not this spring but last spring in Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee. I used Topaz Simplify. Hopefully everyone is having a lovely spring:S3:

The colors, the height of the grass, and the young-looking deer all unmistakably say spring. I like the position of the deer within the frame and those curving branches pointing to it. The foreground flowers add a lot to the image.

The thumbnails looked like Spring, as does the full image. Spring greens. The leaves just opening up. The deer. The flowers. Layers. Depth. Very nice. I wonder if it needs a slight clockwise rotation.

Nice mood but I wish that the deer's nose were not stuck into the leaves....

Thanks, Artie, she was eating the fresh new leaves:S3:

I knew that. I was just wishing that she had a longer tongue :).

yes, young spring. the topaz treatment gives a 'movement" to the grasses that otherwise might have been flat. Very nice capture and preparation.

Nice muted colours Cheryl. Very pastoral scene, and I like the placement of the deer and the "movement" of the grasses.
