Nice job getting low on this shot. I do see some graininess under the bird. Not sure if that is from how you processed the photo or from sizing it for the web. I am on a mission this spring to get a good photo of one of these myself.

Very nice! They often seem to be looking back with a worried look.

It does seem a little grainy -- did you have to bring up exposure in post? The saturated grass competes somewhat with the bird -- I'd go back to the raw file and experiment with contrast / saturation.

Thanks David & Diane. I did a little more work on the PP desaturated the grass a bit and did a little more NR. Here are the results.

Very nice. Appears more natural looking.
