Redstart (male) in Apple blossom
Certainly no where near the number of these here that we normally have. One of our most attractive Summer visitors.

Love the colors and the pose but I find the branch is detracting. I cropped up to the large bloom on the left and down some and liked it quite a bit better. Lovely colors, great exposure and nice details!

I really like the repost John. Beautiful bird and BG. And I think the flowers create a nice frame for the subject. TFS

Beautiful bird, wonderful setting and composition. I like both versions. My only suggestion for the RP would be to clone out the disconnected part of the stump, it is now separated from the main stump and draws my eyes away from the beautiful bird.

The original works for me, it has a nice spring backyard feel to it. Very cute subject, nice pose, and I actually like the displaced feather on it.

Nice shot - the first one for me I prefer the composition and the image quality is better. Hope to get some redstarts this week weather permitting.

Thanks folks. The repost with a bigger crop has taken some IQ away obviously.

I like the repost, like Marina I find the branch distracting. nice pose and I also like the misaligned feather, the blossoms complement the subject nicely.

I'd go with the original image. Very nicely composed with the blossom indeed and the colors give a nice feel to the entire image. Well done.
