Beautiful shot, with a great low POV, and simple but very effective background. There is some great detail in the blacks, and most of the whites, but the cheek looks to hot to me, maybe it could be rescued with a bit more PP work.

this is one beautiful image. As a whole I think the whites can be toned down a little and the cheek should be touched upon. otherwise a crisp and beautifully posing subject. what a beautiful bird. should come over to Iceland some day to shoot this!!!!

The contrast is strong here, but otherwise a beautiful preening image with a great low angle.

Beautiful eye-level shot! I really like the preening pose and the background! I would try to recover more details from the blacks and tone down the whites.

Killer preening pose and a stunning bird. Love seeing the catch light and all of the water droplets. I believe that you could improve this image even more by bringing back into RAW and reworking on the whites and blacks.
