Due to a lack of trees in SE Alberta, barb wire has become a suitable perch replacement

Excellent DOF and good sharpness Darren. I would add a little canvas to the bottom of the frame and some on the right. Perhaps some NR on the BG. Thanks for posting!

Welcome to the BPN family. I like the composition and image. You have great detail on the bird and the soft pale background compliments your subject...:)

One of my favorite sparrows....and you've done him justice. The detail, sharpness, color and BG are wonderful. To show all that great detail this tight image does well. However, I think that I'd like a little more room around the bird. Well done.
