Mountain Bluebird #2

Here is another image of one of the transient mountain bluebirds passing through our area here on Vancouver Island. Hope you enjoy it. Shot at the Nanaimo River Estuary a few days ago.
Stats: EOS-1D Mark4, 600IS2 with 1.4X, ISO800, 1/800sec, F/8

Very nice Steve. I don't know if it my eyesight or screen but there looks to be some cobwebs to the left and I can't make up my mind if they add to the image or not. Stunning colours.

Great pic, Steve! Beautiful color against a soft, non-interfering BG. The blooms (buds?) add just that extra little bit of tenderness to the soft blue of the bird.

Great background that compliments the bird nicely. If mine I think I would clean up the cobwebs and maybe try and tone down the bright bud under the tail.

Beautiful image Steve, this bird reminds me of the Florida Scrub Jays, very similar color.

Beautiful bird, with lovely colors and pose. No problem with the square comp, although I might personally have tried a vertical. Might consider brightening up the eye just a tad.

Wonderful blue bird. Love the pose, details and perch. In my eyes the image is a little bit to dark.
