OK, a miracle just happened and I started using manual exposure.
While looking at my EXIF data though, I have a few questions I hope
you can help on.
First, I'm using the 1D Mark IV and BreezeBrowswer.
#1. When I look at the EXIF data for my RAW file, it shows the correct
Micro Lens Adjustment of +2...but when I look at the TIF file, the
number is 0. Am I possibly missing something on my RAW to TIF
conversion (I'm using DPP)? I just thought it was weird that all
the other numbers transferred.
#2. The EXIF data for Exposure Compensation will show a number like
+803 and AEB Compensation of -980 and Total Exp. Comp of
of -177 (the difference).
Am I suppose to somehow convert those numbers to Aperture
Priority days of old when it was +1, -1, etc. ...or are those numbers
the result of what I do in DPP?
Finally, what is AEB Compensation? I always thought AEB was
automatic exposure bracketing...which I've never done?
Thanks
Doug
